He has rebuilt Foxworth Manor where he is living, and has legally changed his last name from Sheffield to Foxworth. The estate is legally being managed by Bart's father, Christopher Sheffield, until Bart turns twenty-five as stipulated in Corrine's will. Bart brings together his entire family to celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday, at which time an extra clause in Corrine's will is to be read as per her instructions. It’s the 1980s. Brother and sister Christopher Jr. and Cathy Dollanganger, a surgeon and ballet teacher respectively, are the product of an incestuous but loving relationship between their married parents, who were half-uncle to niece. Chris and Cathy are now married to each other, and live under the last name Sheffield, the surname of who ended up being their adoptive father. They managed to escape from their mother, born Corrine Foxworth, who once tried to kill them so that she could inherit her estranged father’s vast estate. Corrine, who ultimately did inherit all the money, was eventually institutionalized following a mental breakdown. Cathy has two children, teenager Jory, whose biological father is now deceased ballet dancer Julian Marquet, and preteen Bart, whose biological father is now deceased Bart Winslow, Corrine’s second husband. While Jory knows about Julian, Bart knows nothing about Bart Sr.; neither knows about Chris and Cathy’s sibling relationship. Chris treats both…

Oh, but back to the abs, yes, that is the same Jason Lewis who used to frequently show off his own toned tummy as Samantha’s boyfriend Smith on Sex and the City. Now he’s playing a cardigan-wearing dad.
Lifetime has already aired adaptations of Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind, the first two books in V.C. Andrews’s Dollanganger family series. A third movie, If There Be Thorns, airs on April 5, and will find Cathy and Chris’s secret pasts being revealed to those closest to them… with a little help from their mother, Corinne (Heather Graham), who dons a disguise and moves in next door to her children. (We hate it when that happens!)
If There Be Thorns airs on April 5 and Seeds of Yesterday airs on April 12 on Lifetime.
